Computer Space!

The first coin-op video game by the famous Nolan Bushnell and licensed and built by Bill Nutting Associates in 1970. What a cab, huh? The game was designed after the popular Space War... believed to be the first video game ever.

Even the first video game had that essential ingredient... you could shoot something ;)

I hope you have as much fun using this thing as I did modeling it. You can use it as a console launcher or just look around for one of the many public domain and freeware "Space War" type games.

In one man's opinion, the ultimate incarnation of Computer Space / Space War was the PC classic Star Control II. This game took the spaceship deathmatch to a whole new realm that I have yet to see equaled in terms of fun! Thanks to Fred Ford and Paul Reiche III of the Toys For Bob team.

The name of the model is comspace...because this name is not a mame name the fe will not find it automatically.

You can make a new gamelist entry for it with comspace in the 2 postition or add it to a gamelist entry's 12 position. To link it with Sinistar for example: |Sinistar (revision 3)|sinistar|1982|Williams|None|None|Shooter / Field|.24|Yes|mame|arcade|comspace|Favorite|Raster|Vertical|240x292|3x4|60.000000|Unknown|No|Stick|2|3|2|williams.c|Good|Good|Good|||||||||
Or add a gencabx entry to an arcade cfg file like this:gencab2|comspace/2/sinistar/2/sinistar/2/sinistar|
